Department: Marketing
Reports to: Head of Product
Location: One Stockport Exchange, Railway Road, Stockport, SK1 3SW
About the role
Ripe is building its product function from the ground up, and this role sits right at the heart of it. As Product Manager, you’ll work closely with the Head of Product to translate strategy into execution - owning a dedicated product squad responsible for improving and optimising our existing products and customer experience.
You’ll be joining at an early and exciting moment: the product discipline is new here, and you’ll play an active role in helping to embed good product practice across the business. That means working in the detail - running sprints, working alongside developers and designers, managing the roadmap and backlog, and making sure we’re continuously shipping improvements that matter to customers and the business.
You’ll be hands-on, commercial, delivery-focused, and comfortable working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, always with a clear eye on impact.

Collaborate with the Head of Product to contribute input into roadmap decisions, flagging blockers, surfacing opportunities, and helping to shape near-term priorities.
Product Improvements & Optimisation
Use data and customer insight to identify where the existing products are underperforming and build a clear case for change.

Stakeholder Collaboration
Build strong working relationships with developers, testers, designers, and wider stakeholders (underwriting, marketing etc) to ensure your squad has the context, alignment, and support needed to deliver.
Communicate progress clearly and proactively - keeping relevant stakeholders informed of what’s being shipped, what’s at risk, and what’s coming next.
Work across functions - including underwriting, marketing and operations, to gather input and ensure product improvements land well.
Embedding Product as a Discipline
As part of a new product function, actively contribute to building product management as a discipline at Ripe - adopting the frameworks, rituals, and ways of working being established by the Head of Product.
Help colleagues across the business understand and engage with product processes - from writing good problem statements to participating in sprint reviews.
Bring a curious and evidence-based mindset to everything you do, modelling the kind of product thinking that Ripe is working to embed.
