Personal trainer insurance as individual as you are

Being a personal trainer is about more than just fitness. It’s the one-to-one sessions, watching your clients reach their goals and the trust they place in you. It becomes more than a job but an essence of who you are.

You approach everything with individuality so you clients get the best, and we believe in the same approach, that your insurance should be as individual as you are.

At Insure4Sport by Ripe we have cover that is designed around you and the way you work, ensuring that your policy only covers what you need, so you can spend your time helping people achieve their goals.

Do I need insurance to be a personal trainer?

You don’t legally need to have insurance as a personal trainer. However, if you employ staff as part of your personal training business, you are required by law to have a minimum of Employers’ Liability Insurance.

If you don’t have any employees, then you still may want to consider investing in personal trainer insurance to help financially protect you should something go wrong. You may also find many gyms and sports centres will ask to see proof of insurance before you are allowed to work there.
