What is Public Liability insurance for musicians?

Public liability insurance for musicians can help provide financial protection should you injure a third party or damage their property while performing, rehearsing, or teaching.

For example, if a piece of your equipment were to fall and injure a member of the audience, and they decided to make a claim against you, having musicians’ Public Liability insurance may be able to help cover the legal costs.

You may also find that some music venues require you to have Public Liability insurance as a minimum before they will allow you to use their performance space.
