What does face painting insurance with Ripe cover?

What's covered

  • Public and Products Liability

Up to £10m of cover is included as standard and can protect you against third-party claims for injury or property damage.

  • Treatment risk cover

Protects your liability against third-party claims for injury or property damage following treatments up to the value of £5m.

What's not covered

  • Working abroad

Only policyholders working in the UK can be covered. claims brought in from another country cannot be covered.

  • Injury to the public whilst teaching

Teaching cover does not include this, as students must have their own insurance to protect their liability.

  • Theft from unattended and unlocked vehicles

Theft from unattended vehicles cannot be covered, unless all points of access are locked or the vehicle is stolen at the same time.

  • Exclusions to money cover

Excludes theft from employees if not reported to the police within 7 days and theft from an unattended vehicle.  

What's optional

  • Contents, stock, and shop front cover

You can cover your contents, stock, shop front, fixtures, and fittings up to a combined value of £250k.

  • Employers’ liability

This cover protects your liability following illness or injury to an employee up to the value of £10m.

  • Teaching cover

Provides cover for compensation sought following a negligent act in respect of providing teaching services where you have received a fee.

  • Money cover

You can cover the theft of money from your business up to the value of £2,500.

  • Business interruption

Covers loss of turnover or the additional costs of keeping your business running up to the value of £500k if you cannot trade.

  • Legal cover

You can select up to £100k of cover for costs incurred from defending or pursuing a claim for a range of legal issues.
