A holiday chalet is your own space to get away from it all, whether that is family weekends, quiet breaks or letting others enjoy it when you are not there.
As chalets are often left empty, things can go wrong, from break-ins and storm damage to missed stays and lost rental income. Specialist chalet insurance by Ripe can help financially support you if your chalet is damaged or you are unable to welcome guests. Whatever your thing, keeping it just for you or sharing it with others, it is about enjoying your time away with greater peace of mind.
Decking and verandas are included within the overall value of your chalet, so the parts that make it feel like yours are protected too.
Personal possessions can be covered whether they’re in your chalet or taken elsewhere, giving you peace of mind. *Terms apply.

The cost of your chalet insurance policy depends on multiple factors such as the security measures you have and your chosen level of cover.
Various things can impact the cost, such as the location and age of your chalet. The quickest way to check the cost of chalet insurance through Ripe is to get a quote online today.
The home must be used for holiday and recreational purposes and be sited on a park registered with the local authority and has a holiday licence.
No, this policy is restricted to within the UK only.
Ripe can arrange cover for properties that were manufactured/built in the last 20 years.
Our insurance covers the person who takes out the policy, their domestic partner and members of their family (or families) who are permanently living with them, and their foster children who live with them. If you allow friends and family outside of this group to use your chalet, they will not be covered, unless you have included Rental Cover and Loss of Rent.
If you select Rental Cover and Loss of Rent, your chalet would be financially covered for loss, damage or theft whilst on hire. This can also provide cover for any loss of rent you might suffer whilst your property is out of use as a result of the damage.
If you choose to refer your friends to us, not only will we reward you with a £50 voucher of your choice, but your friends could make some great savings too!
