  • Swimming pools and leisure facilities

  • Communal areas and shared guest facilities

FAQDo I need campsite insurance?

From busy summer weekends to maintaining pitches and facilities throughout the year, running a campsite can involve a variety of unexpected situations. Campsite insurance offers a range of cover options that may provide financial protection when insured incidents affect the site or its operations.

Some common scenarios include:

  • A guest slips near a campsite shower or toilet block and makes an injury claim

  • A storm damages a campsite reception building, shower block or other insured structure,

  • A lawnmower or other equipment used to maintain pitches and communal areas is stolen or accidentally damaged

  • A fire or other insured event damages campsite facilities and temporarily prevents the site from operating, where Business Interruption cover may provide financial protection for eligible losses.

  • An employee is injured while maintaining pitches, cleaning facilities or carrying out other campsite duties, where Employers’ Liability cover may provide financial protection against eligible claims.
