Marketing Executive

Reports to: Senior Marketing Manager
Location: Ripe Head Office, Stockport Exchange, 11 Railway Road, Stockport, SK1 3SW
Job Purpose
The primary focus of the Marketing Executive is to deliver marketing campaigns, communications and activity for a variety of Ripe products to required deadlines and annual targets. You will also be responsible for briefing and producing a variety of online and offline collateral, including emails, landing pages, display banners, print ads, campaign materials and partner collateral.
Principal Accountabilities
Ensure all actions and behaviours consistently adhere to RIPE values, demonstrating professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to high standards at all times
Project Delivery & Campaign Execution
Responsible for planning and delivering marketing campaigns and communications aimed at capturing email addresses or delivering sales.
With the wider team, plan and deliver automated email & SMS programmes across prospects, welcoming policyholders and win-back campaigns.
With the wider team, plan and deliver key policyholder communications, such as refer-a-friend, cross-sell and upsell.
Deliver marketing collateral for new product launches ahead of launch. Monitor performance closely and continuously improve activity.
Support wider business projects by producing and updating customer-facing insurance documents
Creative Development & Content Production
Responsible for briefing and producing a variety of online and offline collateral, including: Emails, landing pages, display banners, print ads, campaign materials, partner collateral
Responsible for producing creative for multiple channels, including emails, display banners, media, landing pages and partner collateral.
Write clear and precise creative briefs for the Design Studio and IT.
Write compelling and persuasive copy for a variety of marketing communications, including:
Landing pages, Emails, media, digital banners, social media activity, partnership collateral
Work closely with the Content Team to ensure all marketing campaigns are supported by great educational content.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager to execute activity and deliver marketing objectives and targets.
Engage with stakeholders throughout each project as required.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement
Report on performance and proactively make recommendations for continual improvement to ensure channels are performing.
Monitor performance of new product launch campaigns and refine based on audience engagement.
Constantly strive to measure and improve marketing effectiveness.

Keep up to date with marketing developments and introduce innovations if beneficial to the business.

Experience
Essential
Experience working as a Marketing Executive in an in-house B2C or agency e-commerce environment
Experience in planning and delivering email marketing campaigns, both broadcast and automated
Experience in producing conversion-optimised landing pages
Excellent creative and copywriting and assessment skills
Able to write compelling and single-minded propositions which pass the ‘so what’ factor for every piece of creative
Proven experience of consistently meeting targets and deadlines
Exceptional attention to detail
Excellent command of the English language – grammar, spelling and punctuation
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Experience in presenting to key stakeholders
Able to work on own initiative and develop own reports and briefs
Able to manage competing deadlines and work with other departments (IT, Product, Design, Call Centre) to deliver projects to agreed deadlines
Ability to manage the demands of different stakeholders (Management team, IT, Call Centre)
Experience of producing reports and presentations for Senior Management

Experience of working in an e-commerce role in financial services
Good understanding of the marketing challenges faced by medium sized e-commerce companies
