Senior Marketing Executive - Email

 Job scope:

The Senior Marketing Executive position we have available has a heavy focus on email marketing. We have a huge database of prospects and existing customers and under the guidance of the Senior Marketing Manager we want you to devise email marketing campaign plans for how we segment this data and target these consumers with relevant offers and content. Our current ESP provider is Adestra and we’re looking for someone to come in with big ideas of how to make email work even harder. You’ll be doing everything from planning the campaigns, setting them up in Adestra, writing the copy for the emails, briefing them into design, setting test plans and reporting on performance. In addition to this you’ll also get the chance to work on a wide variety of ad-hoc projects across the business. That’s because we never stand still here at Ripe. We’re constantly looking to review and improve our products, websites and collateral. You’ll be working on lots of different projects, such as launching our new referral scheme across all brands, setting up ‘switcher’ campaigns to incentivise customers who are with our competitors to switch to us, plus revamping and improving existing websites. The role will suit someone who has a passion for email marketing but who also has broader experience planning and executing integrated campaigns across multiple channels.

• Working closely with the IT team to advise on the marketing requirements for setting up an API between Adestra and our CRM database

• Writing a plan for how we should segment the existing email database

• Planning triggered email marketing campaigns across all brands which nurture prospects toward purchasing insurance with us

• Reviewing email performance and making constant improvements to improve KPIs such as open rates, click through rates and sales

• Writing clear and precise creative briefs for Design and IT

• Writing compelling and persuasive copy for a variety of customer communications, including emails and landing pages

• Regularly reporting on the success of all email campaigns

• Managing marketing projects as required, leading these projects from a marketing point of view and collaborating with digital, design, IT, customer service and product teams

• To plan and deliver segmented email marketing campaigns

• To be aware of how email marketing performance is contributing to the monthly and annual targets and take proactive steps to improve KPIs or increase activity levels if brands are behind target

• To plan and deliver a variety of ad-hoc projects across multiple brands

• To deliver high quality work in a fast-paced environment

• To work with Design to ensure that the strongest possible creative is produced at all times

• To constantly strive to measure and improve marketing effectiveness

• Someone who always thinks through the consequences and impacts of marketing activity and creates an appropriate customer journey
