What our Specialist Shooting Insurance covers
Up to £10m Public Liability and a Free Personalised Public Liability Card
Accidents occur in every sport but unfortunately in sports that involve shooting the damage can be more significant. We will provide cover of up to £10m for any bodily injury you may cause to someone else, and for any loss or damage to the property of others that you may accidentally cause whilst attending a shooting event within the territorial limits.
We also provide you with a free personalised Public Liability Card so you have proof of insurance on you at all times.
Up to £50,000 cover for theft, loss and damage of your equipment
We are aware guns can be very expensive and easily damaged, but also acknowledge the costly prices of the accessories that come with it. That’s why we cover up to £50,000 of shooting equipment in case it gets lost, stolen or damaged.
Equipment cover is provided on a New-for-Old basis for items up to 3 years old and new at the time of purchase. Items that are older than 3 years or not new at time of purchase will be replaced on an indemnity value basis. There is a limit of £12,000 for a single item.
Up to £50,000 Personal Accident Cover
Accidents can occur to even the most skilled shooters. Whether it be an injury such as a broken tooth or a more serious injury, it makes sense to be protected. We provide cover for Personal Accidents of up to £50,000 should you sustain an injury whilst shooting which results in death, loss of limbs, loss of sight, partial loss of hearing, partial loss of sight, permanent total disablement or require dental treatment.
Up to £100,000 Legal Cover
We provide Legal expenses cover up to £100,000 to challenge refusal to grant or renew a shotgun or firearm certificate, revocation or refusal to verify a firearms certificate, partial revocation of a firearms certificate and conditions imposed on a firearm or shotgun certificate. An excess of £1,000 applies to the refusal to grant a certificate.
We provide you with Worldwide Cover for up to 90 days a year, allowing you to shoot abroad whilst also staying protected.
Up to £200 Equipment Hire Cover
